After years of thinking about it, we built a playhouse over the summer from plans we found in a very old Martha Stewart Kids magazine. What was supposed to be a "weekend project" for a "summertime of fun', turned out to be more like a summer long project, but oh well- so glad it came to be.
Here is my devoted husband in action (who did most of the work, not going to lie).
So many projects here and there it's hard to keep track. Birthdays and Christmas always mean handmade effort and I feel lucky that my kids still appreciate it. Vintage fabric and trim make another backpack from the Made by Rae pattern still interesting.
A bag for a little girl's 9th birthday. Pattern from Oliver and S.
A boy doll with a little Atari Kobayashi feel.
and a tiny backpack, easy from all the kids sized ones I have made :)
And almost forgot, a little puppet theater (inspired by our love for the Sound of Music)- made over from an amazon find with new curtains and fresh paint.
