One last photo from Sarah's wedding.  This one's by a family friend Annemarie Maurer.  Sarah wore a veil for the ceremony and then a barrette I made for the reception.

My sister Rose took these photos of my sister Sarah's wedding.  The top one is a cake topper I made and the bottom photo is a hair piece I made for my neice (one of the flower girls).  I glittered all those leaves myself!  This is the same wedding back in May that I did the butterfly place cards for.  I am glad Rose took photos (she took the photo of the pink rose a few posts back too) because I was running around like a mad woman on the day of Sarah's wedding.  I have 6 sisters by the way!  Hopefully I'll unearth some photos of my sister Kristen's cake topper from last summer- was also running around like a mad woman that day too.  Thank you, Rose!

Just a little pillow.  I printed these tulips on fabric a while back and framed them, but I needed the frame for something else.  I also found the handmade trim a long time ago, but couldn't figure out what to do with it until... voila.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

I know I haven't posted on here in a long time- I have had a bunch of little projects this summer.  Here is one of them.  This is a map I made for my friend's wedding, to go in her invitations.  The monument above the word Baltimore is on the flag of the city.  The state of Maryland is a stamp I had made of a drawing I did- each map is individually stamped.  They are printed on vellum, so there is a nice transparent effect where you can see multiple layers at once when it is all folded up.  The map shows some important sites in relation to each other- hotels, wedding sites, some landmarks and most importantly gives the couple's wedding website so people can get registry details etc.  

I had to miss the latest Hearts and Crafts show :(  But I will post some images of some of the work I had prepared in anticipation of it.  Hope you're having a happy summer!
